Amplify is the new campaign that celebrates the voice of Labour women, and empowers women across the Labour movement to stand up and lead.
Amplify brings together women from across our movement: Labour party members and supporters, trade unionists, politicians and campaigners. Women are suffering disproportionately from David Cameron’s cost-of-living crisis, with attacks on child benefit, hundreds fewer Sure Start centres, and progress on closing the gender pay gap stalled.
Since the formation of the Labour Party, women have led campaigns for their social, industrial and political rights, tirelessly campaigning for a fair and equal society for all. Today this is more important than ever as under the Tory-led government, we have a cost-of-living crisis which is hitting women hard.
Here you can find a range of resources to support you: from taking action on the cost of living crisis in your community, to shaping the political debate through policy discussion, and building a network of women across the country to champion our right to equality.
